Tom Bramwell Design

All of my work is handmade and original. I use hand forming and scoring tools to form the structure in my pieces, then add details and textures to the surface to create bold and unique pieces of jewellery and metal ware. I base my work on the world around me, mainly architecture but other man made items too. I am interested in man made structures that have been changed in some way by natural processes, whether natural chemicals, the weather or even just damage caused by plants and trees growing up and around something, as well as more geometric architectural formations I find. I am keen to observe shapes forms and textures within each subject and portray that in my work whether it is large scale pieces or jewellery. I then abstract, adapt and replicate certain interests to create new innovative, contemporary designs. “I find the world a much more interesting place when nature has been interfered with mans plans and designs
